artist callout : westgarth village needs you

The toilet block on the corner of Westgarth and High Sts, Northcote needs a makeover. Darebin City Council and the local traders in Westgarth Village are looking for artists who can make this happen. If you (or someone you know) is interested, please send a submission by March 21. Here’s more information from the council brief.
THEMES FOR THE MURAL on the North and West facing walls of the public toilet should be inspired by, but not limited to: Westgarth view of city skyline from Ruckers Hill, significant features of High St eg/ peppercorn trees, historic fountain, Westgarth Village streetscape. The two walls are aproximately 33m2.
ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE: a colour sketch of proposed work, examples of previous work, a breakdown of expenses. The approved design will receive the funding required.
