Myfanwy Alderson’s show has two parts. The film – where four dancers move to a spoken word piece called ‘All The Nights’, and the prints, which are stills from the film footage. Text from the spoken word piece was fed into SPEAR (AKA Sinusoidal Partial Editing Analysis and Resynthesis) music software and became the sine waves we seen in the series of 27 digital prints. ‘And Then We Can Spear It’ combines sound, spoken word, film and dance in some very interesting ways, while the use of bright yellow reminds us of danger and disaster. Find it at Off The Kerb Gallery until November 15.
