grizzly espresso, fitzroy

Grizzly Espresso opened in October, and is a fine place for a little street art appreciation. Conor AKA DJ Van Grizzly has a sweet indoor/outdoor setup, some fabby vintage Playboys, AND knows his way around a coffee machine. The chandelier is pretty awesome too. I’m looking forward to more time here, especially as the weather warms up…

Looking out at Deb, on a rainy morning

The library is amazing

The interior is a delightful work in progress

Find Grizzly Espresso in the laneway behind 7-11, on the corner of Johnston and Brunswick Streets.

Milk Bar Mag was lucky enough to drop by on opening day…

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!

  1. Not to mention the little gold folder to complete the picture.

For a Northcote woman you are pretty clued up on the Fitzroy finds – that’s two new hidden places you’ve put me on to, and I’m a local! Shame.

littlebikeblog: Yes indeed – and very cute it is..I do love Fitzroy, have been exploring and partying there since my teenage years. 🙂

  3. Love a bit of Deb; gee I’m glad someone wrote “tits” wouldn’t have realised what they were otherwise!!
