random pages from new zines

For those who came in late, I love zines. These two are both written by the same person, on a borrowed Olympia Traveller de Luxe (AKA manual typewriter)…

Today’s random pages both contain musical references.

From Plastic Knife #8, about Portugese Manowar

“The decision to cover all Manowar albums on acoustic guitar and sing in Portugese was an inspired one”

From Living Room 3

“There is a Depeche Mode ‘Violator’ poster on the wall. Depeche Mode look just like Depeche Mode should. Like they’re just waiting at the bus stop on the way to band practice after going to the hairdressers.”

Both zines are available through Sticky Institute, and are $5 and $3 respectively. This edition of Plastic Knife has a gold knife taped to the front…

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!
