fading rainbow

This Be Free piece has seen better days, but I still love it. Lots of people tell me they’ve been driving and seen a rainbow down a building somewhere, or through a gap in the concrete, making them very happy. Today I walked over to visit.

I was happy too. Just standing there in the hesitant sunlight. The pasteup rustling, the sound of trains, and the whoosh of passing cars just made it better.

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!

  1. I love the rain bow but just hate hate hate marks made by those water guns. That kind of marking has made such a mess of some very beautiful mural work in Los Angeles.

Pasadena: That is a fair point! This one at least appears over a very ugly, blank and unloved concrete building.
