trunk bar yarnbombed

A local resident suggested that the streetscape outside Trunk could use a makeover. So, Melbourne-based collective Yarn Corner got busy. Lots of people were yarn bombing on Sunday (including Bali AKA Twilight Taggers, and Pebble, AKA knitter of those super-cute snails), here’s what it looked like this afternoon…

If you’d like to take a look, find Trunk on the corner of Lt Lonsdale and Exhibition Sts, Melbourne.

Yarn Corner have loads of other projects planned for the Melbourne CBD. If you’d like to knit with them, commission a piece or donate cash/materials, find them on facebook.

Thanks to Bali of Twilight Taggers for the heads up – and for correcting my original post!
