piano cocktail – long drink 5 aperitif

Piano Cocktail – Long Drink 5: Aperitif features Michael Danzinger, an Austrian composer and musician. I’m guessing this LP dates from the mid 1960s. If you need some sophisticated background music for night time entertaining, look out for these records. Most op-shops have loads, probably because people owned the whole set. On the Amadeo label.

Just a couple of questions for the stylist/artistic director:

* Why would you set up a table for drinks a deux in the middle of a busy road? Ok, so great Dubonnet product placement, but really…date venue fail.

* What’s with the plaid and tartan ensembles – she tones in with the truck logo and he fades into the background. And what’s in the large bag under her chair?

* Can mademoiselle really spit that mouthful of Dubonnet in monsieur’s face from that angle?

I’m wondering what monsieur is saying at this moment. What do you think?
