urban art 10a

Today’s jaunt involved a visit to BSG. I enjoyed Jak Rapmund’s mixed media and stencils on found wood, illustration/collage/prints by James Panic, and the toy art of Rob Thompson (yes, I own three ziplings already). Other favourites include Amy Calton’s kooky felt animals, and the eco-friendly creatures of Antonia Green.

Thanks to Mark, who attended on opening night, and inspired me to visit. Read his review here.

My time at BSG was totally dominated by Milly, the most beautiful and mischievous gallery cat of them all…

Look out for Graeme Finn’s work as you climb the stairs…

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!

  1. I love white cats. I used to think cats were a writers favorite companion, but it seems where I live they’re gaga over pups.

  2. Pasadena: you would love Milly!
