flock at first site gallery

Part of the 2010 L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Cultural Program, Flock is worth wandering through. Expect birds, butterflies, and all manner of textiles, crafted by RMIT students. Look out for millinery by Tammy Yeo and Nikolina Kucan, Camilla Stirling’s Peacock Plumage silk screenprints, and Ann Lim’s Butterfly’s Perspective dress. I also enjoyed Sunjit Bhatt’s origami and metal chain neckpiece.

Flock is on until March 27, at 344 Swanston St, Melbourne.

Nikolina Kucan’s website (Nikolina Concepts) is coming soon…

Look out for this sign – featuring Tammy Yeo’s Untitled. Photographed by Marc Morel.

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!

    Hello lovely
Sad you couldn’t make it to yesterday’s drinks.
Have published story on ‘Figment’ – would love to know your impressions of the show!
