four larks theatre in northcote!

Four Larks Theatre are a group of Australian and American artistes, who perform in unusual locations. Expect to see a combination of installation, live music, circus, and vaudeville! I’m going to see The Fate of Franklin and His Gallant Crew on March 25, in a secret northside location, and am most excited.

Imagine yourself a fly on the wall in 1850s London. Commander Franklin’s naval expedition is missing, somewhere in the Arctic. Lady Franklin is desperate to keep searching for him, and involves Charles Dickens, a fine teller of tales…

Visit their exquisite website, you can also become a fan on Facebook, or visit their myspace page. Four Larks Theatre also appears in today’s Age and EG liftout, where the show is described as

“a nautical junkyard opera, with live music and plenty of rum, laudanum, scurvy and cannibalism.”

The Northcote season runs from tonight until March 27. Tickets via the website!

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!
