no yuppie cafes on a dead planet

It’s…bintastic! Coming soon to a wall near you.

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!

If they’re going to leave ‘political’ graffiti, it might help to make proper use of the apostrophe.

  2. J-Wow: any sort of graffiti/commercial signage should make proper use of the apostrophe, imho. Correct spelling would be nice too!

  3. While we’re on the subject, I’d like to see capital letters used properly as well…

  4. And a full stop at the end of the sentence.

  5. fitzroyalty: Yes please! Someone suggested this morning we form a northside grammar vigilante posse – are you in?

with all your anality about punctuation and correctly used capitals.. you still see fit to use crappy acronyms such as ‘imho’?

  7. eroica: Hello cheeky! I happen to like acronyms – especially when certain letters only work intermittently on my keyboard 😛

  8. glad I’m out of the marksmanship range of the grammar committee. I think punctuation should be used expressively!!! and yes “randomly”

  9. Pasadena: I find it interesting that the anti-gentrification message was scrawled on a bin belonging to a household, not a cafe or wall (yuppie or otherwise). The graffitist’s lack of compositional skills just add to the irritation.
