jules bar and cafe

Newly opened, this place is sheer delight! My Pimms #1 were expertly mixed, and Joffa’s chardonnay proved most enjoyable. Great music, a tres civilised bar menu, and a swell range of beverages. Our shared antipasti plates were delicious, and I love the fact that there are two types of Croque Monsieur, crudites, prawn cocktails and frites available. The ladies behind the bar are friendly, and I will be back to see them very soon…

For those who came in late, Jules is related to Julio Cafe, and also to the delightful Glitzern retail emporium. Open every day from 5pm, for your guaranteed refreshment. Find Jules at 81 High St Westgarth.

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!

  3. I just had dinner at a Jule Cafe Bar in Singapore. I wonder if it’s by the same owners..or just someone who studied in Australia and loved the place so much.

  4. bookjunkie: I just saw your post this morning! Definitely not the same owners – Jules Bar near my house is more vintage in style and serves casual French bar food. More of a wine bar than a cafe. Nice coincidence though…
