your mystery record

We were a Readers Digest Record Club family. I’ve always loved vinyl, still buy it new, and can’t go past crates in op shops without having a look. What to do with all the unloved, too scratched to play vinyl? I’m not the type to make bowls (or record clocks) and painting on them is so not my scene. Sometimes even mash-ups aren’t possible. Inspiration hit, and so far I have made two of these. Hit the orange etsy button (on my blogroll) to check this one out.

Check out the LP’s pyjama girl is digging – all taken from an Australian Record Club advert (Woman’s Day with Woman, September 30, 1963).

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!
