It’s cold and rainy, neither of us felt like cooking, so we got fish and chips instead. To go with them, Joffa bought an excellent Pale Ale from Hargreaves Hill. Brewed in the Yarra Valley, it has no preservatives, additives, evil GM ingredients, or sugars, but plenty of flavour. Think floral meets toffee meets cognac, and you’re getting the picture.

About Vetti

I love good coffee, street art, tiki bars and kitsch. Adore roller derby and quiffs and vintage Hawaiian shirts. Enjoy a slice of my northside life!

I had some Hargreaves Pale Ale a while ago at some eating place up in Olinda. It was very very yummy indeed.

  3. bookboy: oh yes, and i’m excited that they also make porter and wheat beer – which i will hopefully be trying very soon…
