c is for caponata at silly yaks

Joffa et moi do enjoy a saunter down to Silly Yaks for Sunday brekky. How exciting to find new options on the menu…I had the Caponata, a tasty dish of Sicillian styled eggplant, olives, capers and celery, all cooked down in a basil and tomato sauce, and piled onto poached eggs. With almonds on top, if you don’t mind.Mmmm! I couldn’t help noticing they also have a Puy lentil breakfast dish, which will be my plate du jour next time.

Now I’m super hungry, and looking forward to meeting Livebird for lunch, so must stop typing and get on with stuff…Have a great day folks!
