tee and sympathy

One sunny day, Ms. Capers went to visit Mr. Frolic. He was in a frightful mood, as nothing in his closet would match his jumper, and his hair? Don’t even mention it! Capers suggested his knitwear would be perfect for the golf course, and offered him cocoa and crumpets afterwards. Here they are, on the stairs to his apartment. You can see how cheery Frolic is now…

His bulky pullover, although warm, was scratchy. Her sweater was scratchy too. The mohair/wool/nylon blend was no fun at all. “I’m so disappointed”, said Frolic, “this yarn is supposed to be comfortable and luxurious”. He sliced awkwardly, straight into the trees. “Don’t fuss” said Capers, “we’ll find it”. So off they went. But when they got there, they met the Villawool Girls, clad in a terrifying array of knitted sportswear and kicky hair-do’s.

“Oh nooo!” wailed Frolic “it’s Speediknit, Argyll and Nylo Tweed!”
