Why? My new job is fantastic, met up with mates after work, went to JB Hi-Fi for Godfather II and III at $13 each, enjoyed good Yea cheddar, bikkies and white wine with Joffa – and the football’s on! Must get into the kitchen and rattle them pots and pans – home-made pesto and pasta is sounding pretty good right now. We adapted the recipe from The Cook’s Companion (without the salt, and using 50% Greek basil and 50% Italian flat leaf parsley). Stephanie rocks – we have both version of her book, the orange, and the stripey.
Yawning now – I got up at 6am for early shift today. Stay tuned hepcats, will post some more goodies tomorrow. Right now, I’m thinking about an entree sized pasta, a hot bath, and bed.
