living in the 70’s

I was born in 1973, and remember vividly the shagpile carpeting at my parents house. We had an orange check Swedish lounge suite, and olive green drapes. There were ferns in a wood-veneer planter box, and a dining setting to match the lounge chairs off to one side. The overhead lights were amber glass. However, this all seems fairly tame when compared with these decorating ideas:





I’ve always wanted one of those swivelling pod chairs…

What does the bathroom with flowered vinyl wallpaper and pink orlon carpet say to you??
