Strolling to Casa Iberica for essential supplies this afternoon (Spanish nougat icecream chilling in the refrigerator as I type), what did I spy on Johnston St, Fitzroy?
this yarn bomb thing is something I’ve only recently become aware of: it was done on a large scale down the street from me (bus shelters, parking meters etc)

stumbled across your blog when looking for yarn blogging info ( I too posted a pic of this bike, which by the way has had more added to it since your February photo) any way, I fell in love with your mast head image (I ADORE 50s and 60s furnishing fabric) so am going to subscribe to your blog immediately. I would stay and browse your back catalogue of gems (had a quick squizz) but I have used up my browsing time quota on yarn bombed busses and the like. So much good stuff out there among the dross, so happy to add your blog to that list.
it’s definitely a purler
(the seat needs emergency treatment though)
Ann O’Dyne: Yes! When you get down to the knitty gritty, a quality bike seat is most important…
yes yes I saw this on the weekend, neat. Great pic.
Kaff-eine: Thanks! Love those handlebars…
That’s so awesome!
Bali: one of my fave yarn bombs ever!
