My Mum is going overseas on Wednesday, so I took her out to dinner, and gave her a few things for the journey. Writing is a big part of C’s travel experience, so I bought her a Rebound Book.

Tres amazed by these, and can’t wait to see what else their creative minds come up with. People like this deserve to be cool hunted. Having said that, there are loads of old books out there just waiting for someone to pick them up, dust them off, and make them feel useful. I’ve always like the notion of making a book cover into a bag or other useful object – but, you guessed it, never got round to doing it. Maybe one day…
